The College of Education at Boise State University recently held its annual Spring Teacher Career Fair on March 12, 2025, at the Boise State Student Union Building. The event connected aspiring educators with a range of potential employers, fostering networking and career exploration opportunities.
This year’s fair featured 22 education employers from across Idaho, representing diverse teaching environments, including small rural schools, large urban districts, public institutions, private schools, and even unique roles such as a jail instructor position with the Ada County Sheriff’s Office. The variety of organizations highlighted the wide range of career paths available in education.
Employers were given two minutes each to introduce their districts or organizations, sharing insights into their teaching environments and encouraging students to consider a broad spectrum of opportunities. Many emphasized the importance of exploring all options and expressed optimism about the teaching profession. Employers also conveyed gratitude to students for pursuing careers in education and highlighted the personal fulfillment that comes with teaching.
The College of Education at Boise State University remains dedicated to preparing the next generation of educators and helping them find their place in the world of teaching.
