The College of Education has three student success advisors who guide undergraduates seeking a degree in education through their programs. Our advisors’ expertise helps students navigate course registration and progression, and support the process of applying to the Teacher Education program.
Megan Lindbeck, Director of Student Success
Megan Lindbeck joined the College of Education in January from Boise State’s Advising and Academic Support Center, where she worked with undeclared and exploring students for over eight years.
“I like supporting students in reaching their goals, whatever those may be. I thrive on taking something that may be confusing or stressful and making it easy for a student to understand,” said Lindbeck.
Lindbeck holds a B.A. in History and M.S. in Higher Education. Originally from Wisconsin, she likes all things cheese-related and is a proud Packers fan. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, performing arts downtown Boise and enjoys dogs of all sizes.

Nicole Yorba-Miller, Elementary Student Success Advisor
Nicole Yorba-Miller joined the College of Education advising staff in the fall of 2023 with experience as a high school counselor in California and in higher education at the University of Redlands and the University of Phoenix.
“I want to be an extra support system for students and advocate for their needs,” said Yorba-Miller.
In her spare time she likes to hang out with her family, listen to music and craft.

Morgan Coddington, Secondary Education Student Success Coordinator
Morgan Coddington began her career in the College of Education in August of 2021 from an eclectic background in nonprofit organizations, where she interacted with people from all backgrounds and ages.
“My passion for working with students comes from my love of helping others. I have always loved helping people and assisting them in solving problems,” said Coddington. In addition, many of her family members are teachers so she brings a sincere admiration and respect for those who choose it as a career.
In her spare time, Coddington enjoys movies, music and concerts – including an Eras Tour show, which she will happily talk with fellow Swifties about.
Coddington’s role in the advising suite is to help support all students who want to be middle school or high school teachers.
