Graduates from the College of Education were among 20,000 attendees at commencement May 7 in Albertson’s Stadium. At the ceremony, the university recognized 2,400 students out of 3,109 eligible for graduation, a record number for spring.
Graduates from the College of Education’s undergraduate, master and doctoral programs go on to teach in P-12 classrooms and at colleges and universities, contribute to education research, and become leaders in schools and administration in the state of Idaho and beyond. Graduates from our programs consistently cite faculty support and collaboration as crucial factors in their success and preparation, and graduates from the teacher education program receive mentoring and conduct research during their internship and student teaching semesters, bolstering their real-world experience ahead of becoming certified teachers.
The college is proud of our graduates for the work they have done as students and, most importantly, we are excited to see and feel the impact of the contributions our graduates will make in the fields of teaching, education research and leadership.
