Ed Tech alum and Boise teacher Kellie Taylor received the 2022 Trailblazing STEM Educator Award from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Taylor is a gifted and talented teacher at Hawthorne Elementary and graduated with a doctoral degree in Educational Technology from Boise State in 2016.
Taylor is among five national recipients and received the award for her passion for hands-on STEM education and connecting her students and colleagues to space education through real-world experiences. Each recipient of the award and their school receives $5,000 and is granted access to exclusive STEM programming from the institute.
The 100% online Doctor of Education in Educational Technology program develops innovative leaders in the field, focusing on exploration in current and emerging technologies to prepare educators to lead in a dynamic, global society.
