Meet Raissa Miller, an assistant professor in the Department of Counselor Education, and one of the newest faculty members in the College of Education.
What are your areas of teaching/interest/research?
Integrating neuroscience principles into counseling, lifespan development, evidenced-based treatments in addiction counseling
What are some of your favorite things about Boise State?
Dynamic energy, friendly and supportive people, and access to outdoor recreation
When not working, where are you and what are you doing?
Is there such a thing as not working? :) Spending time with my husband, daughter, and new puppy. We like to walk in the foothills or on the Greenbelt. We love skiing in the winter and kayaking on the Boise River in the summer.
