Meet Jeremy Ford, an assistant professor in the Department of Early and Special Education, and one of the newest faculty members in the College of Education.
What are your areas of teaching/interest/research?
My primary teaching interests are in assessment and evaluation as well as in the introduction, or foundations, of special education. My research interests include: Curriculum-based measurement, explicit instruction, postsecondary transition and education for students with disabilities, program evaluation, and Response to Intervention / Multi-Tiered System of Support.
What are some of your favorite things about Boise State?
My favorite thing about Boise State has been the helpful and friendly people I’ve worked and collaborated with. I also enjoy the view of the river and foothills from the College of Education (and the warm weather).
When not working, where are you and what are you doing?
I enjoy spending time with my wife and our four boys. During the week we’re busy trying to get everyone where they need to be, but most weekends we try to find some time to enjoy being outside. There’s so much to do in Boise!
