Internal Funding Opportunities

Seed Grants

The college is accepting proposals for research and scholarship grants to be used in support of developing, deepening, and/or extending a line of inquiry, or practice-based initiative. Seed grants are intended to support your scholarly efforts and help you build a foundation for seeking future external funding for the project. Up to $10,000 per faculty member.

Application period is closed.

Small Research Grants

These small grants meant to jump start research in cases when your PI account is insufficient to cover a specific research expense (Rolling applications).

To apply, please submit a short proposal that outlines the expense, how it will jumpstart your research, and how this project is related to your larger research agenda and plans or opportunities to expand this work to COED-Research@boisestate.edu. If your PI account is sufficient to cover the expense at the time of your application, you must also explain why additional funding is needed.

Graduate Assistant Request
