The Department of Literacy, Language, and Culture (LLC) is co-hosting the second annual Idaho Reading and Literacy Summit on November 20, 2015, 7:00am-4:30pm in the Student Union Building. The summit features various stakeholders and community organizations who are involved in improving reading and literacy for Idaho’s children.
Maggie Chase, LLC Department chair, is scheduled to present and facilitate sessions at the summit, and will share out ‘success stories’ of collaborative relationships between LLC faculty and Idaho school districts.
Register for the event by November 15, 2015. The $20 registration fee includes access to all sessions at the summit, breakfast and lunch. Free parking will be provided in the Lincoln Garage near the Student Union Building, click here for parking instructions.
