TRIO Teacher Preparation members, Ashley Bates and Samantha Locascio, traveled to Pittsburgh on August 4, to present at the Association of Teacher Educators Summer Conference. Their talk focused on their experience establishing the Teacher Education Ambassadors (TEA) club on campus. This teacher education student organization was created with the goal of providing its members professional learning opportunities. Students and faculty advisers have worked closely together to build community among teacher candidates, at Boise State University and local schools through a number of service oriented activities.
