The TRIO Rising Scholars Program and Office of Community Engagement and Belonging is hosting a “Confidence in the Classroom” workshop.
Whether you want to express your needs or speak up for what you want at school, work, and within your relationships – conflict can be uncomfortable to navigate. This workshop will be a great opportunity to reflect, connect with peers, and leave the workshop with ideas and confidence to better advocate for yourself and others – in and outside of the classroom. Confidence in the ClassroomÂ

- Location:Â Student Equity Center (2nd floor of SUB)
- Description: Ever felt out of place in a classroom? Want to learn more about how to advocate for yourself and/or others? Join this workshop to learn about frameworks to have productive conversations. Activities will consist of personal reflection, learning relevant terminology, and group conversations to support you with developing confidence moving forward!
