What is TRIO Academic Coaching and Educational Support?
TRIO Academic Coaching and Educational Support (ACES) is designed to support 100 students with diagnosed conditions that creates a barrier in the academic environment. A portion of students enrolled in the program must be low-income. The services offered in the program include: academic coaching and advising, tutoring, personal and career counseling, peer mentoring, grant aid, as well as help with Financial Aid and financial literacy, students will receive comprehensive services, have a deeper connection with the college experience and receive the support they need to stay in school. The various components of the individualized services offered by the program will help students overcome many of the academic barriers that prevent them from being successful. At our end-of-year graduation events, students will be inspired by others who share their own stories of success and will realize that they can do the same.
Enrollment Agreement
