The Master of Arts in Education, Curriculum and Instruction (MACI) degree is designed to advance the professional learning and development for practicing educators. While this degree focuses on the K-12 education landscape in particular, we accept students who identify as educators and work outside of the K-12 systems as well. Students take 4 required core courses, a selection of courses in their elective or cognate interest, and complete a culminating activity, selected from three options. This degree requires completion of a minimum of 30 credits. The MA in Education, Curriculum and Instruction does not lead to initial teacher certification nor does it require certification for admission.
