In the Boise State Literacy Lab, children in grades K-12 are tutored either one-on-one or in small groups by undergraduate teacher candidates. These teacher candidates are simultaneously completing coursework in literacy assessment and instruction, and they are provided constant support and feedback by university professors and graduate students.
Literacy Lab Graduate Assistantship Available
When:
Fall and Spring semesters, Tuesdays and Thursday, for approximately 10 weeks
Time:
4:30 – 5:30pm
Where:
To ensure the safety of tutors and families, tutoring will be remote using Zoom.
Cost:
$175
Application Information:
Enrollment opens at the beginning of each semester (August and January) and is limited. We try to accommodate as many children as possible, but our capacity will vary each semester depending upon the number of undergraduate teacher candidates available to tutor.
