The Certificate in Inquiry-Based Early Childhood Education does not lead to a state teaching certification. This program prepares early childhood educators to work outside of the public school system in settings that do not require teaching certification. If you are interested in obtaining the Idaho Blended Early Childhood/Early Childhood Special Education, Birth to Grade 3 certification, you would need to pursue the Blended Early Childhood/Early Childhood Special Education degree program, which requires in-person coursework. Boise State does not offer a fully remote pathway to the Blended Early Childhood/Early Childhood Special Education, Birth to Grade 3 certification.
