Interested in exploring an emerging topic in online education with your peers? Our Communities of Practice (CoPs) and User Groups are the perfect option! Every other week throughout the semester, you’ll meet with a cohort of faculty to discuss a topic in-depth and learn from each other’s experiences. Below, you’ll find the Communities of Practice and User Groups that we’ll be facilitating in Spring 2025, along with additional information on what to expect and how to get involved.
User Group for Spring 2025
Digital Simulations and Virtual Reality

Within this group, you’ll collaborate with a cohort of your colleagues to achieve the following:
- Investigate how to implement emerging technology effectively in online courses
- Gain hands-on experience using emerging virtual reality tools and technologies
- Share your ideas and experiences with your peers
- Connect with university technology experts and the broader research community
This group will hold eight one-hour virtual meetings, scheduled at times convenient for most participants.
