What is 3MT?
Three Minute Thesis is a research communication competition. It was founded by the University of Queensland. An average PhD thesis would roughly take 9 hours to present. In this competition, graduate students only have 3 minutes to present. More information on 3MT
In order to compete, students must be pursuing a Master’s or Doctorate Degree. The top three students receive a prize between $500-$1,000. There is also an Audience Choice Award of $250.
