Dr. Alexandra Urza will be visiting Boise State next week as our seminar and EEB 601 guest speaker. Ali is a Research Ecologist with the U.S. Forest Service’s “Maintaining Resilient Dryland Ecosystems Science Program,” based in Reno, and she has a lot of expertise on invasive annual grasses, wildfire, and woodland/forest ecosystems. I know she’s looking forward to her visit and meeting people here at Boise State. Please consider signing up to meet with her on 11/7 or 11/8! Also, she will be presenting her current work on pinyon-juniper woodlands in the EEB/DBS seminar from 3:00-4:00 on Thursday, Nov 7 in Education 110. Everyone is welcome to join for this presentation!
