Student Opportunities

A variety of research projects in geochronology applied to stratigraphy, paleobiology, paleoclimate, regional tectonics, volcanology, and igneous and metamorphic petrology, with an emphasis on constraining the timing and rates of geologic processes through both in situ (LA-ICPMS) and high-precision (ID-TIMS) U-Pb geochronology and Bayesian age modeling strategies
