Dr. Dan Luna’s Lecture on Where Mammals Came From

Come check out Dr. Dan Luna discuss where mammals came from. Where did mammals come from? Did they really evolve from reptiles, as is often suggested? What are the essential mammalian characteristics and how did they emerge over time? Fortunately, a wide array of fossils (mostly from before the time of dinosaurs) provide intriguing answers to these questions about the origin of mammals. Dr. Dan Luna will discuss paleontological discoveries that will help understand where mammals came from. The lecture will be held at the Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology on August 18 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. General Admission is $5 plus Eventbrite fee.
