If you are doing any water related research please consider submitting an abstract to the DEQ Water Quality Workshop – while “quality” is in the title, all flavors of water research are represented. They are particularly interested in featuring Boise State faculty in the oral sessions.
For students – we can’t stress enough that almost every state and federal organization that does work in water in Idaho, and many consulting firms that you may be interested in working for will be there. There is a poster session which will be a great opportunity to re-use your AGU/GSA poster, practice your thesis proposal /defense pitch and get feedback on your research.
