Climate science can be tough to parse: Building vocabulary, knowledge and skills around one of the most pressing issues facing the planet today are critical. Idaho Climate Literacy Education Engagement and Research (i-CLEER) at Boise State helps bridge the gap by empowering Idahoans and their communities to take action, connecting research with off-campus needs, and investigating and developing climate resilience and justice. In 2021, activist and actor Jane Fonda supported Boise-area high school students as they participated in i-CLEER, and donations to this fund will help their student projects geared toward climate education reach a wider audience.
