Geophysics doctoral candidate awarded USGS Mendenhall

Congratulations to Andy Lamb, a Geophysics doctoral candidate working under Kasper van Wijk, who has been awarded a USGS Mendenhall Fellowship.  The fellowship will start in July after he completes his doctorate this spring.  These are highly sought after and prestigious fellowships, with 12-20 given out each year across the country.

Andy will be working with Dr. Richard Blakely at the USGS Center in Menlo Park, CA on a project titled:
Neotectonics, Structure, and Hydrogeology of the Columbia Embayment, Washington and Oregon, as Illuminated by New Geophysical Surveys.
