    Jen Schneider

    Launch Director, School for the Digital Future; Director, DI+D

    Jen Schneider is the Associate Dean of the College of Innovation + Design and the Launch Director of the School for the Digital Future in the College of Arts and Sciences. She formerly led the PhD program in Public Policy and Administration in the School of Public Service, and her research focuses on the communication of scientific and technological controversies. She received her PhD in Cultural Studies in 2004 from Claremont Graduate University.

    Jen Schneider is the Associate Dean of the College of Innovation + Design and the Launch Director of the School for the Digital Future in the College of Arts and Sciences. She formerly led the PhD program in Public Policy and Administration in the School of Public Service, and her research focuses on the communication of scientific and technological controversies. She received her PhD in Cultural Studies in 2004 from Claremont Graduate University.

    Jon Schneider is the Director of the Bachelor of Applied Science and Interdisciplinary Professional Studies degrees. He has over a decade of teaching and program and curriculum development experience in higher education and is committed to enhancing career-relevant, supportive and life-enriching interdisciplinary degree options at Boise State. Jon received his BA from Florida State University and his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Virginia.

    Jon Schneider is the Director of the Bachelor of Applied Science and Interdisciplinary Professional Studies degrees.     Alexis Kenyon

    Associate Director, IPS/BAS

    Alexis Kenyon is Associate Director of the Bachelor of Applied Science and Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Professional Studies. She has an extensive background in student support and experience in a variety of higher education positions, including college admissions, academic advising, teaching and curriculum development. She is passionate about and committed to helping students persist to graduation. Alexis received her BA from the College of Idaho and her Master of Health Science from Boise State University.

    Michelle Bennett

    Clinical Associate Professor, School for the Digital Future

    Michelle Bennett serves as faculty as well as an organizational ombudsperson at Boise State University. Bennett has 16 years of experience as a communication faculty and six years as a department chair. Her academic and professional training and teaching experiences are in conflict management, interpersonal communication, listening, emotional intelligence, interviewing, research methods and public speaking. Prior to higher education, Bennett spent 20 years in professional communication and leadership roles in a variety of industries. She also volunteers as an interviewing and public speaking coach to youth. Bennett’s Master of Arts in Communication was earned at Boise State University and her Ph.D. at the University of Idaho in Educational Leadership.

    Reggie Jayne is a seasoned interdisciplinary educator with a diverse academic background spanning history, the liberal arts and the humanities. Following a distinguished career at the College of Western Idaho, he now teaches at Boise State University’s School for the Digital Future, leading the Interdisciplinary Studies (3-D) program. His passion lies in empowering students to explore the connections between disciplines and create their own unique academic paths.

    Reggie Jayne is a seasoned interdisciplinary educator with a diverse academic background spanning history, the liberal arts and the humanities.     Baker Lawley

    Clinical Associate Professor of Experiential Learning Opportunities

    Baker Lawley is a Clinical Associate Professor of Experiential Learning Opportunities in IPS/BAS, where he leads the Credit for Prior Learning program, coordinates the Internship program and develops Work-Integrated Learning opportunities, while also teaching IPS/BAS core courses. His work focuses on experiential learning opportunities, helping students integrate learning done outside of a traditional classroom into their degree. He earned his B.A. from Millsaps College and his M.F.A. from the University of Alabama.

    Margaret Sass

    Lecturer, School for the Digital Future

    Margaret Sass is Lecturer in the Department of Interdisciplinary Professional Studies and Bachelor of Applied Science Programs and Faculty Associate for Service-Learning. She has worked in marketing, public relations and nonprofit management before she decided to focus on higher education and teaching. Margaret received her BA and MA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, her JD from Western State University College of Law and her EdS and EdD from Boise State University.

    Margaret Sass is Lecturer in the Department of Interdisciplinary Professional Studies and Bachelor of Applied Science Programs and Faculty Associate for Service-Learning.     Breanna Ribeiro earned her BA in Religious Studies from Linfield College with minors in Sociology, Political Science and Gender Studies. Following her undergraduate studies, she completed a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship at the Akilah Institute for Women in Rwanda, where she cultivated her passion for student empowerment. Breanna then completed her MA in Critical Gender Studies at Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. While living and teaching abroad, Breanna developed a commitment to building inclusive learning environments in higher education.

    Breanna finds fulfillment supporting students in the Interdisciplinary Studies and Digital Innovation and Design programs as they craft intentional degrees that align with their unique goals and interests. She is happy to assist with degree planning, goal-setting, problem-solving barriers to academic success and Boise State navigation.

    Jovy Schur is the Business Operations Coordinator for the School for Digital Future. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree with an emphasis in Public Health and a certificate in Leadership. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies at Boise State University. Additionally, she also earned an Associate in Applied Science in Early Childhood Education from the College of Western Idaho. Her career spans both the United States and the Philippines, where she gained valuable knowledge and experience in education, administration, management, budget and IT.
