Below are common holds placed on students accounts by our office. To resolve a specific hold, please follow the instructions provided.
Student Conduct Hold
These specific holds can prevent you from registering for classes and requesting transcripts, so it is important to get them resolved.
Students who are found responsible for violating the Student Code of Conduct may be assigned educational sanction(s) as an outcome of their hearing process. When a student fails to complete their sanctions by provided deadlines, a Student Conduct Hold will be placed on their account. To have this hold removed, a student will need to email srr@boisestate.edu their completed sanctions, and a Student Conduct Administrator will remove the hold.
AlcoholEdu and Sexual Assault Prevention Training Courses
All incoming students under the age of 21 are required to complete AlcoholEdu and Sexual Assault Prevention; Students who are over the age of 21, will only be assigned the Sexual Assault Prevention course. If you haven’t completed both of these courses by the deadline specified in your notification email, you will have a HOLD placed on your my.boisestate.edu account and you will not be able to register for future classes. If a hold is placed on your student account, you will need to contact DOSeducation@boisestate.edu to complete your course requirement and have the hold removed from your student account.
AlcoholEDU take approximately 90 minutes, and Sexual Assault Prevention takes approximately 45 minutes from start to finish. You can work at your own pace from any computer with Google Chrome or Firefox with a Flash player. You can leave and return at any time to the page where you left off. These courses will help you be a healthy, responsible Bronco who lives our Shared Values.
