Each year in the BRONCO SHIELD program, scholars receive comprehensive financial support, which includes:

• • Full tuition and fees coverage
  • A stipend of $27,000 for undergraduates and $37,000 for graduate students
  • Up to $6,000 annually dedicated to  professional development and health insurance

To enhance skills and help prepare them for the real-world challenges in the field, scholars’ will participate in the following: 

• Specialty CyberAI classes: VIP and AI4Cyber
• Internal internship with the Institute of Pervasive Cybersecurity
• CyberAI Seminars and Club
• Cybersecurity competitions

This program supports the professional growth of scholars through:

• Private networking opportunities with government recruiters
• Personalized professional development support through Boise State Career Services and Government agencies
• Faculty mentorships
• Invitation to attend CyberCorps SFS Career Fair in Washington D.C.
