Our Mission Statement
The Cybersecurity & Artificial Intelligence (CyberAI) Club seeks to cultivate a collaborative environment where students can explore the convergence of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Our mission is to equip members with practical skills, foster innovative thinking, and uphold ethical standards through hands-on projects, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions. By encouraging interdisciplinary learning and leadership, we aim to enhance understanding and foster collaboration related to AI-powered cybersecurity and the safety and security of AI.
What’s on the Horizon?
We’re kicking off the semester with exciting plans and we want YOU to be a part of it! Our initial brainstorming session has proposed some thrilling events, including:
- Capture the Flag (CTF) Competition: Test your cybersecurity skills in an exhilarating, competitive setting.
- Workshops and Seminars: Dive into practical applications of cybersecurity and AI, and gain real-world experience.
Appointment of Principal Officers and Club Advisors
We are excited to announce our Principal Officers and Club Advisors who will guide and lead the CyberAI Club:
- President: Jared Fairbanks
- Vice President: Vika Crossland
- Secretary: Dooshima Dapo-Oyewole
- Financial/Event Coordinator: Grace Lytle
- Marketing Officers (Acting): Jared Fairbanks and Vika Crossland (The club is actively seeking a marketing student to fill this role.)
- Equity/Inclusion Officer: Souleymane Cheikh Sidia
- Assistant Secretary: Nate Gaddy
*Jared and Vika will serve as acting marketing officers, but the club is looking for a marketing student to permanently take over the position. Interested members or potential candidates are encouraged to reach out.
