Peer Observation Program

Overview

The Peer Observation Program is a faculty development opportunity to foster collaborative learning, reflective teaching practices, and personal growth in a supportive environment. In groups of three, instructors observe each other’s classes, participate in group discussions, and reflect on their experiences. The CTL  will match you with two instructors to engage in peer observations and reflective discussions in a non-evaluative setting.

Program Goals

The Peer Observation Program:

  • Establishes a supportive, non-evaluative process where instructors learn from one another.
  • Promotes interdisciplinary exchange of best practices and effective teaching strategies.
  • Engages instructors in self-reflection to gain new insight into teaching and learning.
