The Center for Teaching and Learning is committed to celebrating and highlighting great teaching at Boise State – and we now have a new way to do it! Starting in January, the CTL will be recognizing “Everyday Teaching Excellence” in our monthly newsletter. All Boise State educators are invited to nominate a colleague – or self-nominate! – with an example of an effective teaching strategy they use, something they do to create a welcoming classroom climate, or how they mentor students. Nominations are anonymous, and any educator at Boise State can be nominated. More than one nominee may be chosen for a given month. The award recipient will receive:
- Recognition in the CTL newsletter
- A CTL-branded tote bag
- A letter of acknowledgement to their department leadership
Not sure how to choose which colleague to nominate? Consider sharing an example of an educator (including yourself) who creates opportunities for students to connect with each other in the classroom. Submit your nomination by filling out this short nomination form.
