The Center for Research and Creative Activity (CRCA) provides a strategic focus to achieve the Division of Research and Economic Development’s vision for Boise State University to “grow in select areas of research defined as those with the greatest potential for distinction, and societal, cultural and economic benefit.”
Central to this vision is Research Development within CRCA, which provides strategic guidance and tactical support throughout the entire proposal development lifecycle.
With a priority on large-scale, multi-investigator efforts, CRCA Research Development provides a range of proposal development services and resources tailored to the needs of the research team and the scope of the proposed effort. We serve as your thought partner in translating solicitation requirements and criteria, funder priorities, team strengths, and your scholarship into competitive proposals. In advancing the research enterprise at Boise State, we partner with faculty, scholars, and researchers across campus in the following steps of the Research and Creative Activity ecosystem:
This support takes on many forms, including front-end strategy, long-term research portfolio planning, matching funding opportunities with researchers, facilitating program officer engagements, making connections with campus resources and community partners, fostering interdisciplinary and cross-institutional collaborations, grantsmanship guidance, and proposal reviews.
In addition, we offer comprehensive team and proposal development coordination and facilitation on large, complex extramural funding opportunities.
To learn more about the support and services offered by Research Development, we invite you to review Step 1: Generate Idea, Step 2: Find Funding, Step 3: Prepare Proposal through the links below.
