About the cohort: IRA for Sustainability in Food and Fiber Systems
We are a team of faculty working to improve sustainability in food and fiber systems in Idaho and beyond by providing theoretically informed, actionable, interdisciplinary research. Utilizing a unique team science approach, we have focused our efforts on collaborative team building and co-creation of activities and outcomes.

About the cohort: Placemaking: Creating a Place for Art and Design in Research
We aim to use transdisciplinary knowledge, experience, and education to create authentic mechanisms for collaborative university research based on arts, design, and creative processes and methodologies. We seek to become a place where arts-based research is cultivated on our campus, where new research teams form and adapt to better articulate, design, and communicate their discoveries, applications, and connections.

About the cohort: Accelerating Interdisciplinary Research in Water
We help facilitate the transition to an American West where there is greater harmony in coupled water-energy-human systems by meaningfully engaging with various partners to carry out transformative research and workforce development inspired by our partners’ co-identified needs.
The core values that underlie our mission include our recognition of the fundamental right of self-determination of partner communities, the value of relationships in co-producing and co-delivering knowledge, and our role in promoting trustworthy research inspired by the placement of product knowledge in their multifaceted uses.
