Who is OCI?

The Office of Continuous Improvement (OCI) partners with University Financial Services, Human Resources and units across campus to support and maintain Bronco Hub.

Along with system support, the OCI team facilitates, consults and manages change initiatives and improvement efforts to streamline and increase business process efficiencies within University Financial Services business operations and Human Resources HCM (Bronco Hub) business operations.

What is Bronco Hub?

Bronco Hub is an integrated Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Human Capital Management (HCM) cloud platform used for financial and HR transactions, such as:

    • time cards,
    • employee expense reimbursement,
    • procurement requests,
    • salary changes and
    • employee data changes.

Once submitted, the majority of Bronco Hub actions route through the standard approval workflow.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to promote continuous improvement by seeking to achieve clarity, alignment and adoption. We attain this through process improvement projects, influencing vendor platforms for our customers, maintaining system stability and resolving issues, while providing awareness to impacted users.

OCI has five high level steps that include a unique set of activities.

Maintain Tools and Resources

  • Identify risks and recurring issues

Meet the team!

Systems Analysts

The system analysts work to identify and resolve Bronco Hub system issues, implement new system functionality, move the university forward through system improvement projects and act as liaisons between the campus community and Oracle.

Process Improvement Analysts

The process improvement analysts work with UFS, HR and other partners in the campus community to move the university forward through process and system improvement projects with a focus on adoption.

Testing Manager

The testing manager partners with the campus community to coordinate quarterly Oracle patch testing and consult on testing strategy for changes to the Bronco Hub system.

Management Assistant

The management assistant works with OCI and UFS partners to ensure business operations are running smoothly.

Management

The management team works with OCI, in collaboration with HR and UFS teams, to strategically implement projects, effective issue resolution and influence vendors to support business processes.
