Title: Recognition of Microaggression Triggers for Early Hate Intervention
Abstract:
Intentional or accidental aggression in social media often causes social discrimination, angst, and mental stress for users. This study is structured to be able to computationally identify such aggression and to build a standardized triggers database. The research questions being addressed are: (1) Is it possible to computationally detect and classify Microaggression? and What are the triggers in user interactions that provoke microaggression? (2) And can these triggers be added and maintained through a standardized dataset?
