Biography
Nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs) that appear in the sciences and engineering have always piqued my interest. My current study is on numerical simulations of nonlinear PDEs that simulate various geoenvironmental phenomena, whereas my earlier work concentrated on the analytical treatment of nonlinear PDEs.Particular problems that I am interested in include the development of numerical models to simulate the fate and transport of post-wildfire toxic contaminants in soil environments and the investigation of the effects of the wildfires on the physical, chemical, and biogeochemical properties of the soil and surface materials, especially the procedure of soil contamination by wildfire events.
