Biography
I hold a master’s degree in Geomatics and I obtained by bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering at Universidad del Cauca in Colombia. I have worked as a junior meteorologist and radiosounding assistant at the Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology, and Environment Studies of Colombia (IDEAM). In my bachelor’s degree, I worked with simulation models for flooding using remote sensing products.
In my master’s degree, I have gained expertise in numerical modeling using MATLAB, Python, RStudio, and Google Earth Engine platform DEE. Moreover, I have experience in machine learning and deep learning for carbon and aboveground biomass estimation.
