ADA/504 Compliance

Boise State is committed to providing individuals with disabilities equal access to programs, services, and/or activities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and relevant local, state, and federal law.

ADA/504 Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate compliance with federal, state, local laws, and regulatory guidance related to ADA/Section 504
  • Identify and coordinate a response to patterns or systemic issues relating to ADA/Section 504 concerns
  • Provide information and assistance to individuals who wish to file a formal grievance, make a complaint, or who have concerns or questions regarding public access, digital accessibility, and accommodations under the ADA/Section 504
  • Consult with University entities responsible for overseeing the administration of the interactive process, coordinating physical/environmental access, managing digital access, and investigating and/or responding to ADA/504 complaints

Title II Rule on Digital Accessibility

The Department of Justice published a new rule on digital accessibility under Title II of the ADA. This rule will require the University’s web content, including academic course content, to comply by April 24, 2026.
