Roles: They all helped with collecting and organizing data, specifically data related to children in after-school programs. Additionally, they gained knowledge about 3D printing and addressed any concerns raised by PSTs during after-school programs.

Roles: Supported PSET participants to develop and implement their STEM modules lesson plans at the Community partner location, and assisted them in producing their end-of-semester poster (presented at the Students Undergraduate Research Fair event) reflecting their experience.

  • Christopher Ayo (Spring 23, Mathematics Major).  Roles: He helped implementing windmill module, worked with our pre-service teachers and elementary school students in the after-school program.
  • Juan Olazaba, (Fall 2023, Statistics Major). Roles: He helped analyze the data, provided 3D technique support for newly developed 3D printing module, helped with implementing windmill module, worked with pre-service teachers and elementary school students in the after-school program.

Undergraduate Assistants

  • Curtis Foster (Spring 2022 – Fall 2022, Mechanical Engineering Major). Roles: His duties included 3D printing technique support, working with pre-service teachers and elementary school students in the after-school program.
  • Carlos Cruz Garza (Spring 2024, Electrical Engineering Major). Roles: He provided 3D technique support, helped with data collection, and worked with pre-service teachers and elementary school students in the after-school program.
