Note: Remember that the four-year plans are the department’s recommendation of which courses to take in each semester, but they are not set in stone! Depending on class availability, personal preference, and other factors, your classes may look different in any given semester – and that’s okay! However, it is important to pay attention to prerequisites (classes that have to be taken before other classes) so that you stay on track to complete your degree.

In-Person Orientation
For recent high school graduates who are ready to meet their peers, explore the university, and meet with academic advisors. These in-person orientations are 2 days to help prepare recent high school graduates for college.
Virtual Orientation
For students transferring to Boise State from another institution, veterans, and/or adult learners 21 or older. This process prioritizes registering for classes conveniently and is followed by a Community Building event.
