The CAES Scholars Program funded by the NSF S-STEM program is an amazing opportunity for Idaho engineering and computer science students currently enrolled in programs at Boise State University, College of Southern Idaho (CSI), and College of Western Idaho(CWI). Funded by the National Science Foundation, we are offering scholarships that will help cover the cost of attendance (unmet need up to $10,000 per year!) at any of the participating institutions with the ability to continue support through graduation with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in one of the following Boise State University programs:
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Science
- Electrical Engineering
- Computer Systems Engineering
- Engineering Plus (General Engineering)
- Materials Science and Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
To be eligible for this scholarship opportunity, students need to meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled as a Full-Time student (12 or more credits as of Fall 2023) in an engineering or computer science major at Boise State, CSI or CWI
- Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Eligible to receive Federal Financial Aid
- Demonstrate financial need
Note: Even though the link is on a Boise State website, CSI and CWI students should also submit applications at the same link. Students from each institution will be reviewed separately.
