How to Build and Use the Print-A-Punch Transcript

In this video i’m going to show you how to assemble and use the print a punch device.

You will need all 3d printed pieces, a bolt, two washers, and a wing nut, the two flexible razor blades a hex key and tweezers.

Start by sandwiching the blade die between the two clamping holes making sure to line up the hole.

Insert the bolt through the hole with a washer on each side and add the wing nut to the end.

Next use the tweezers to slide the flexible razor blades between the blade die and the clamping coils. Be very careful during this step because the razors are sharp and can cause severe cuts.

Now line the wing nut up vertically and place the protective lid over the blades making sure to slide the wing nut into the notch for anchoring.

Use the hex key to tighten the bolt all the way so the blades form into the correct shape.

Now your print to punch device is ready to use.

To use the device remove it from the protective lid and place it on the tissue razor side down. Hit the top with the mallet until the tissue is cut all the way through. Use the tweezers to remove the coupon from the device. When the device is not in use be sure to place it back in the protective lid.
