Construction Management Degree Outcomes:

The Department of Construction Management prepares engineers who embrace critical thinking and innovation to enhance societal and environmental welfare.

Our courses are taught by industry experts who bring examples and connections from industry experience and realistic expectations from the workforce.

You will develop the knowledge and skills necessary of future construction professionals through innovation, character, and ability to meet the specified needs of society and provide leadership to the construction industry.

Fundamentals

Identify principles of mathematics, physics, and statistics to appropriately anticipate the behavior of materials, equipment, and methods used in construction.

Ethics

Ability to understand fundamentals of contemporary management and business practices appropriate to the construction profession including sustainability, accounting, finance, business regulations, contract law, labor law, and marketing.

Communication

Ability to identify and effectively communicate graphics, oral and written communications with the understanding of human factors.

Stakeholder Relations

Ability to lead, coordinate, communicate, and interact with professionals in various disciplines to solve project challenges.

Construction Process
