>> ETHAN: Hey there! We’re with the Office of Information Technology at Boise State and we want to let you know about some of the technology, software, and services we offer free to all students.
>> BETH: myBoiseState is your portal to everything Boise State online. You can access class information, financial aid, student clubs, and other systems like Blackboard, our learning management system. You can access myBoiseState from any desktop, laptop, or mobile browser at my DOT boisestate DOT edu.
>> ETHAN: Download Boise State Mobile, the official mobile app for Boise State students, for quick access to class information, notifications from instructors, Blackboard assignments, grades, and more. Boise State Mobile also lets you scan your phone instead of using your Bronco Card at University Dining locations. Download it for free from the Apple and Android stores.
>> BETH: For email and productivity, we provide you with a G Suite account which includes Gmail, along with productivity and collaboration tools like Google Docs, Sheets, and Calendar, a Boise State YouTube account, and unlimited file storage with Google Drive.
>> ETHAN: Boise State also offers free Microsoft Office to actively-enrolled students. You can install and use Microsoft Office on up to five computers, including smartphones and tablets.
>> BETH: We also provide you with a fully-licensed Zoom account for connecting with your instructors, other students, and friends via video, chat, and screen sharing.
>> ETHAN: When you’re on campus, sign in to the eduroam Wi-Fi network for super fast Internet access. We also have public computers and over 80 BroncoPrint stations you can print to directly from your computer.
>> BETH: Visit the Office of Information Technology website at boisestate.edu/oit for a complete list of free software and services we provide.
>> ETHAN: If you ever need help, or your computer isn’t working, bring it by The Zone in the ILC and we’ll take a look at it for free. The Zones also have technology you can check out like iPads, calculators, cameras and even laptops. If you have a technology need, The Zone is the place to go.
