About Krishna Pakala
Bio
Accomplished, Award winning, Dynamic professional and PhD with several years of experience conducting high-level scientific research. Dedicated scholar with strong teaching experience and strategic approach to problem solving. Resourceful and versatile with excellent interpersonal skills, highly developed work ethic, effective communication and reputation for integrity.
Dr. Pakala has been the recipient of the David S. Taylor Service to Students Award (04/2017) and ASEE PNW Section Outstanding Teaching Award (04/2017).
He received the Golden Apple Award’s honorable mention (02/2017) and was nominated for the Boise State University Foundation Scholar Award in Teaching (01/2017).
He is also the recipient of the Center of Teaching and Learning’s “Teaching Innovation Program” certificate (10/2016).
He has been the recipient of the Department of Mechanical & Biomedical Engineering’s, “Leadership for the Engineering Tutoring Center” award (04/2016) and “Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching” award (10/2012).
He received the “Golden Apple” award (02/2016).
He was nominated TWICE for the College of Engineering’s “Teaching Award for Excellence” (04/2015 and 04/2014).
He was awarded the “Residence Life Faculty Member of the Month” by NRHH (12/2015).
