KR&L’s

Lakeview Park

Lakeview park has served the community of Nampa for many years. KR&L’s was hired to design renovations to this amazing park. Our team is responsible for the re-routing of 16th Ave, installation of new restrooms, walking paths, pavilions, and re-routing of the river. KR&L’s had a strong emphasis on green and sustainable solutions, ADA accessibility, and serviceability to the community. Our goal was to create a park where the community of Nampa can come together to enjoy for years to come. This park will take in the natural beauty of the area by incorporating native vegetation and the history of the area with a new warhawk memorial, honoring those who served our country. The focal point of the park is the community pond. This pond will have easy beach access and a ramp that leads down to the water. Our design limits the slope of our walkways and includes many benches to ensure that all can enjoy Lakeview. Our design incorporates eco-friendly materials such as Bermuda grass, a grass that requires little watering. Soils from the pond excavation will be used for leveling roadways and walking paths. Lakeview’s renovation will increase community use and be beneficial to all who live in the area.
