First “summer” graphics challenge scheduled

Students asked for it. We listened and responded!

ME 187 Graphical Communication is a required course in 3D solid modeling computer-aided design using Solidworks software. Many students have already had exposure to this type of software in school or home and some wanted to see if they could “test out” before they get into the class this semester.

The “summer” ME 187 Challenge Exam will be held Friday, August 25 from Noon until 2:00. Applications for the exam must be submitted by Friday, August 11 to be considered. There is a $50 non-refundable fee to take the exam.

NOTE: We will not offer the exam with fewer than four students enrolled, so please apply by August 11 so we can confirm the exam will be offered.

While technically the first week of school, successful students already enrolled in the class should have their exam results in time to meet the deadline to drop without a W.
