COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING HOMECOMING TAILGATE
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7
4:00–6:00 P.M.
Micron Center For Materials Research (MCMR) Building
Alumni and Friends,
As many of you know, this year marks the 25th Anniversary for our college, but it also marks the 90th Anniversary for Boise State University. A momentous year for all Broncos and we want to celebrate with you!
Homecoming and Parent & Family Weekend fall on October 3-9 with our Broncos taking on Fresno State on October 8 in the annual homecoming game. To celebrate our anniversaries and celebrate in person we are hosting our annual Alumni and Friends Tailgate on Friday, October 7 from 4-6 p.m. in front of the Micron Center for Materials Research on University Drive.
It is expected that this year’s homecoming game will be an early morning kickoff which would limit the tailgate experience we would be able to host. With the help of University Event Services, Boise State Alumni Association, and Bronco Athletics this year’s Homecoming Parade has been moved to Friday, October 7 at 6 p.m., which is why we have decided to have our tailgate on Friday night.
Join us on Friday afternoon for hamburgers, hotdogs, and refreshments before heading over to the Cesar Chavez Lane along the Greenbelt and Boise River for this year’s parade.
As part of the special anniversary celebration, we’ve partnered with Bronco Athletics to create a College of Engineering Homecoming experience at this year’s game. The first 50 College of Engineering alumni, donors, and friends. Interested fans are eligible to purchase Homecoming tickets for October 8 vs. Fresno State at 60% off for just $35 (limit of 4) and a College of Engineering swag bag including a 25th Anniversary stadium bag. If interested in this great opportunity, please contact Scott Jurgens.
We look forward to celebrating our anniversary more with you and your families and cheering on our Broncos against Fresno State!
