We’re halfway into the semester and we’re here to remind you that it’s never too late to utilize department and campus resources at your disposal. There’s support everywhere so use it.
Here are some resources that can help you be proactive as you finish the second half of the semester:
Math Tutoring: The math department offers free tutoring options for these courses. There is also free in-person and online tutoring, plus private tutoring available through the Advising and Academic Support Center.
Writing Center: Get help in person or online. The Writing Center’s tagline is “because writers need readers,” and that’s a perfect summary of what they do. Really great writers always have people review their work, and the revision process is the most important part.
Advising and Academic Support Center: There’s a whole lot of help here, from time management to note-taking, to study skills. You’re not the only one feeling shaky in the basics – the folks in the Advising and Academic Support Center have it dialed in and the free workshops are well worth your time.
Bronco Ready: All new Boise State students are invited to participate in our online resource called Bronco Ready. This course is designed to address common questions and connect you to the people, programs, and services that will support your success and transition into Boise State. Students are encouraged to complete tasks, attend events, review content, and earn points! Complete 1,300 points and accompanying requirements and earn one FREE elective credit! Learn more about how to access Bronco Ready here.
