The VARScent Reverse Alzheimer’s research team is looking for new members. Our team works to design, manufacture a virtual reality (VR) device, which incorporates smell for the diagnosis and therapy of Alzheimer’s disease. We developed a series of prototypes in collaboration with an innovative health care provider in the Treasure Valley. For this fall semester, we aim at testing the device on a person who has lost their smell capacity due to COVID. The project is open to all majors.
