The Boise State Micro-g NExT and SUITS research teams are looking for new members. Our teams work to design and manufacture tools for NASA missions. Due to the nature of NASA projects, mechanical engineering students are always helpful. We feel that this is a great opportunity for students to practice what they’ve been learning.
Another perk is that, if our design gets selected for testing, NASA provides funding for a portion of the teams to visit NASA facilities such as the NBL in Houston.

What is the goal of Micro-g NExT?
While our exact challenge is to be announced by NASA, our most recent project to prototype a spacewalking tool gives you an idea of the big, audacious, inspiring nature of the challenge we will work on.
SUITS
Spacesuit User Interface Technologies for Students (SUITS) is a NASA-sponsored program working with astronaut-focused materials and technologies.
