Some in-person instruction will end on the last class day prior to spring break, while others will offer an in-person option. If a student already has plans in place that will prevent you from coming back to in-person classes after the break, classes will also be available online. Computer labs and Albertsons Library will remain available for student use, and university offices will continue to provide in-person and/or remote services to students after the spring break.
Testing requirements
Residential students are welcome to travel for the spring break but will be required to have a COVID test upon their return. Select clinical rotations, student teaching experiences, and internships may require some students to stay in the Boise area until the end of the semester.
Campus-resident students will be required to test for COVID April 19-23. Students living off-campus will not be required to be tested prior to returning to the classroom, due to the demonstrated lack of classroom spread.
COVID testing remains available to any campus community member who has concerns about symptoms or possible exposure. Testing is strongly recommended for all individuals (including faculty teaching in-person and individuals conducting campus-based research) engaging in activities over spring break that put them at increased risk for contracting COVID-19.
