She will oversee the existing office staff and assist the Department Chair with projects and processes.
About Kristina
Kristina began working at Boise State in 2011 for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, working on academic program support. After working in several different roles within the department, she was promoted to Academic Programs Manager. In this role, she transformed their academic advising model and helped lead the department to create a new bachelor’s program and six certificate programs.
While working at Boise State, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies focusing on psychological theory, leadership practices, and conflict management. She brings a collaborative and impact-focused approach to her leadership role with a passion for conflict resolution, building relationships, and coaching others. As a two-time nominee for the David S. Taylor Service to Students Award, she almost beat out Leonardo DiCaprio for the number of award nominations without actually winning.
Outside of work, you can find Kristina kayaking or hiking with her daughter and dogs, baking and decorating cakes, reading, accumulating completely useless trivia knowledge, or collecting dinosaur figurines to decorate her office. Her favorite dinosaur is a toss-up between the Brontosaurus and Deinonychus.
Kristina begins her time with MBE on Monday, March 22, 2021.
